Who Is YourRAGE?
YourRAGE — real name Joshua Maynard — is an American YouTuber, Twitch streamer, and content creator known for his high-energy reaction videos, gaming streams, pranks, and Just Chatting content. He is a member of FaZe Clan.
He launched his YouTube channel in 2013 before expanding to Twitch in 2019, where his popularity skyrocketed. Today, his main YouTube channel has more than 1.9 million subscribers, and his Twitch channel boasts over 2 million followers.
He is proudly of Caribbean heritage, with family roots in Barbados and Haiti — an identity he wears openly and that resonates with a large part of his community.
In October 2025, he made history by surpassing 100,000 Twitch subscribers, becoming the second Black streamer ever to do so after Kai Cenat — and the fifth FaZe member to reach the milestone.
YourRAGE Age and Early Life
YourRAGE was born Joshua Maynard on August 17, 1997, in Florida, making him 29 years old as of 2026. A Leo, he grew up with Caribbean family roots in Barbados and Haiti.
Some profiles associate him with Atlanta, Georgia, where he spent significant time building his early audience. Like many streamers, he keeps the specifics of his upbringing private — the public knows Josh the personality, not every detail of Josh the person.
His full legal surname has never been fully confirmed publicly; fans know him as Josh. That boundary between persona and private life is one he has maintained even as his fame grew.
What is clear is that gaming and internet culture were his world from a young age — the foundation of everything that followed.
Starting on YouTube (2013)
YourRAGE launched his YouTube channel in 2013, entering the platform during its golden age of gaming content. His early videos featured the high-energy reactions that would become his trademark.
The name says it all: rage — loud, expressive, unfiltered reactions to games, videos, and internet culture. In a sea of gaming channels, his personality was the differentiator.
Building a YouTube audience in the 2010s was a grind. But Rage’s consistency and authenticity slowly built a loyal following that would follow him anywhere — including to a new platform.
Those early years forged his community. The fans who found him on YouTube became the core of the Twitch audience that would later make history.
Conquering Twitch (2019–Present)
YourRAGE expanded to Twitch in 2019, and the move transformed his career. Twitch’s live format was made for his style: real-time reactions, live commentary, and direct interaction with chat.
His streams blend gaming — especially Fortnite — with reaction content, pranks, and Just Chatting segments. The energy never drops; Rage streams at full volume, emotionally and literally.
His Twitch channel now boasts over 2 million followers, placing him among the platform’s elite. His community is famously loyal, showing up in force for every stream and defending him fiercely online.
He famously started his on-camera career with his facecam off, revealing his face in a stream fans still call legendary. The face reveal became part of his lore.
The 100K Subscriber Milestone
In October 2025, YourRAGE hit 100,000 Twitch subscribers — a milestone that made him the second Black streamer in history to do so, after Kai Cenat. A video of the moment, showing his genuine shock and excitement as chat flooded with love, went viral.
The achievement was historic. Twitch’s subscriber records have been dominated by a small group of creators, and for a Black streamer to break 100K was a landmark for representation on the platform.
Fans and fellow creators celebrated. One viral post noted he was now the fifth FaZe member to reach 100K subs. Comments poured in from viewers who had watched him since his early days posting clips.
The milestone validated a decade of work — from 2013 YouTube uploads to one of the biggest audiences in streaming.
Joining FaZe Clan
YourRAGE is a proud member of FaZe Clan, one of the most influential gaming and entertainment organizations in the world. The FaZe banner amplified his reach and connected him with the biggest names in streaming.
FaZe membership is both a credential and a community. For Rage, it meant collaborations, events, and a shared audience with creators like Kai Cenat and the rest of the FaZe roster.
His 100K milestone made him the fifth FaZe member to reach that subscriber count — a marker of his standing within the organization.
The FaZe connection also places him in a lineage of gaming culture that spans from competitive Call of Duty to mainstream entertainment — and Rage is one of its most charismatic current faces.
Content Style: Why Fans Love Rage
YourRAGE’s content is built on authenticity. His reactions are genuine — when he is hyped, angry, or moved, you believe it. In an era of manufactured streamer personas, his realness stands out.
His humor is a huge part of the appeal: quick, sharp, and often self-deprecating. He roasts games, videos, and himself with equal enthusiasm.
He connects with fans directly. His Just Chatting streams feel like hanging out with a friend — albeit a very loud one. That parasocial bond is the engine of his community’s loyalty.
Like fellow high-energy streamers we cover — from Jynxzi, another Twitch star with a devoted community, to the Jynxzi age profile — Rage proves that personality is the ultimate content. Games change; charisma does not.
The Best-Friend Betrayal (2026)
In 2026, YourRAGE shook his community with a stunning public allegation: he claimed that his best friend of 25 years had stolen up to $100,000 from him.
The revelation came during a vulnerable moment on stream. For a creator whose brand is built on authenticity, the pain was visibly real — and fans felt it with him.
The story exploded across social media. Fans responded with an outpouring of support — and with a grim refrain: loyalty is dead. The phrase trended as viewers processed the idea that a quarter-century friendship could end in alleged theft.
As with all such allegations, the full details remain between the parties involved. But the incident highlighted a reality many creators face: when money and fame enter the picture, even the oldest relationships can fracture.
YourRAGE Net Worth
YourRAGE’s net worth was previously reported at around $800,000, though that estimate is several years old and his actual wealth is likely higher now given his subscriber growth and FaZe Clan membership.
His income streams include Twitch subscriptions (100K+ subscribers generate substantial monthly revenue), YouTube ad revenue, sponsorships and brand deals, FaZe Clan partnerships, and merchandise.
Twitch is reportedly his biggest earner — subscriber revenue at his scale, combined with donations and bits, adds up quickly. A streamer with 100,000 subscribers is in rare financial air.
The 2026 theft allegation — up to $100,000 allegedly stolen — underscores both how much he has earned and how seriously he takes protecting it.
Personal Life
YourRAGE keeps his personal life relatively private despite streaming his personality daily. He is known to be close to his family and proud of his Caribbean heritage.
He is reportedly 5 feet 6 inches tall and keeps fit, with photos showing a regular gym routine. An old basketball ankle injury — sustained playing with a friend — is part of his lore.
His friendships within the streaming world are well-documented; his FaZe Clan connections and collaborations with top creators form his public social circle.
The 2026 betrayal allegation revealed a more private pain: a 25-year friendship, dating back to childhood, allegedly ending in theft. It was a reminder that behind the rage persona is a real person.
What’s Next for YourRAGE
At 29, YourRAGE is in his streaming prime. The 100K subscriber milestone proved his ceiling is still rising, and his FaZe Clan platform gives him room to expand into mainstream entertainment. With 2 million Twitch followers and counting, every stream is an event — and every event grows the legend a little more.
Many top streamers parlay Twitch success into business ventures, media appearances, and brand empires. Rage’s charisma translates beyond gaming — reaction content, comedy, and hosting are all within reach. His FaZe Clan membership already puts him adjacent to fashion, music, and mainstream entertainment deals that most streamers never access.
His community remains his superpower. Two million Twitch followers and 1.9 million YouTube subscribers do not just watch — they advocate, clip, and recruit. In the attention economy, that kind of loyal army is worth more than any single viral moment.
Like fellow creator Jenny Popach, who built a massive following on personality-driven content, Rage shows that the creator economy rewards authenticity above all. The next chapter is his to write.
The FaZe Clan Effect
Joining FaZe Clan changed the scale of YourRAGE’s career. FaZe is not just an esports organization — it is a cultural brand with ventures in fashion, media, and entertainment. Membership put Rage in rooms with the biggest names in gaming.
The FaZe house culture — creators living, streaming, and collaborating together — suited Rage’s high-energy style perfectly. Content practically generates itself when charismatic streamers share a space.
His collaborations within FaZe expanded his audience exponentially. Cross-stream appearances introduced him to fan bases he might never have reached alone, and his 100K milestone made him the fifth FaZe member to hit that mark.
FaZe’s own evolution — from trickshot collective to publicly traded entertainment company to its current form — mirrors the maturation of streaming itself. Rage joined at a moment when the organization was becoming a mainstream cultural force.
Work Ethic: The Grind Behind the Rage
Streaming looks like play; it is work. YourRAGE’s decade-long career is built on a schedule most people could not sustain: long live broadcasts, daily uploads, constant community engagement.
The 2013-to-2019 YouTube grind taught him consistency. Six years of uploads before Twitch took off is a timeline that filters out everyone without genuine commitment.
Live streaming adds another layer: there are no second takes. Rage’s ability to stay entertaining for hours, reacting in real time to games and chat, is a performance skill as demanding as any in entertainment.
His community rewards the effort. The loyalty of his fan base — the kind that floods chat with love during milestone moments — is earned through thousands of hours of showing up.
Collaborations and Community Moments
YourRAGE’s career is studded with collaboration highlights. Streams with fellow FaZe members, joint broadcasts with top creators, and guest appearances have all expanded his reach.
His community generates its own lore: the legendary face reveal, the basketball ankle injury, the viral 100K subscriber moment. These shared memories bind fans to the channel.
Rage’s chat culture is famously active. During big streams, tens of thousands of viewers participate in real time — a scale of live interaction that traditional media cannot match.
He has also used his platform for connection beyond entertainment, engaging with fans on personal struggles and real-life issues. That openness deepened the bond that makes his community exceptional. When he shared the painful 2026 betrayal allegation, the response was not gossip — it was an outpouring of genuine support from people who felt they knew him. That is the difference between an audience and a community, and Rage has the latter.
The Business of Being Rage
Behind the persona is a business. YourRAGE monetizes through Twitch subscriptions, YouTube ad revenue, sponsorships, brand partnerships, FaZe Clan deals, and merchandise.
At 100,000+ Twitch subscribers, subscription revenue alone is substantial — one of the highest-earning tiers on the platform. Add donations, bits, and ad revenue, and streaming becomes a serious enterprise.
Brand deals follow audience. Companies pay premium rates to reach Rage’s young, engaged, gaming-native demographic — one of the most coveted audiences in advertising.
The 2026 theft allegation was a business lesson as much as a personal one: at his income level, financial controls and trusted advisors matter. Many creators learn this the hard way; Rage’s public experience became a cautionary tale for the community.
Representation and Influence
YourRAGE’s 100K subscriber milestone mattered beyond his own career. As only the second Black streamer to reach that mark, he became a symbol of what is possible for Black creators on Twitch.
Streaming’s biggest stages have not always reflected its diverse audience. Rage’s success — and his visibility as a FaZe Clan member — helps change that picture.
His Caribbean heritage is part of his public identity, and he represents it proudly. For young Black and Caribbean viewers, seeing someone who looks like them at the top of Twitch matters.
His influence extends to content style too. The high-energy reaction format he helped popularize is now a staple of the platform — imitated by thousands, mastered by few. New streamers study his timing, his chat interaction, and his ability to turn any moment into entertainment. That is influence no subscriber count can fully measure.
Rage’s Most Viral Moments
Every top streamer has moments that escape the platform and enter internet culture. YourRAGE has several.
The face reveal remains legendary among longtime fans. After building his early audience with the camera off, the reveal stream was an event — the kind of community moment that old-school viewers still talk about.
The 100K subscriber celebration in October 2025 was his biggest mainstream moment: genuine shock, chat exploding with love, and the historic weight of becoming the second Black streamer to hit the mark. Clips circulated for weeks.
His reaction clips — the explosive, meme-worthy outbursts that gave him his name — have millions of views across YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter. Rage’s face mid-reaction is one of streaming’s most recognizable images.
And the 2026 best-friend allegation, painful as it was, became one of the most-discussed streamer stories of the year — proof that his audience extends far beyond his own channels.
